Starting from 2013, Asia Pacific Management Review will adopt a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) system to efficiently manage the papers accepted for publication. Papers including those that have been, are about to, or will be published by APMR will be registered a DOI number which allows them to become immediately citable as a web document. For detailed information on the nature and function of DOI, please refer to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_object_identifier
The DOI initiative has at least the following two advantages:
- For papers that are accepted but not yet published by APMR, DOI enables them to be indexed through the Internet and hence reduces possible delay in citation caused by late publication.
- For papers that are accepted and are published by APMR, DOI enhances their Internet visibility through giving them unequivocal and permanent DOI names.
We expect to have all accepted papers registered for DOIs by the end of 2013. To follow up on our progress and learn more, you can find us at DOI: 10.6126/APMR. We wish you a very Happy New Year!
